Before I knew better, I was really judge-y of the “Self-Help” of bookstores or libraries. I didn’t understand at the time that reading books to improve my life would SERIOUSLY IMPROVE MY LIFE.
Personal development is one of our 4 vital behaviors as coaches for a very very good reason. We have to work on ourselves in order to best help our teams, customers, friends, and families. We have to work on becoming our best selves every single day in order to see the best results in our lives and in our business. It’s just like exercising or brushing your teeth. Non-negotiable.
